Who we are and what we do
We are spouses. We are retirees. We are service members. We are friends. Together we make up FFAM. We believe in "fun with a purpose." Each year our members put on fun, interactive events to help raise money and awareness for the Frontier Army Museum.
Funds raised go to the conservation, restoration, and purchase of artifacts. We promote an interest in the living history of Fort Leavenworth and strive to cultivate curiosity in the Frontier Army to our youngest generation. FFAM organizes special events for children, to include a scholarship contest. We offer adults a variety of membership events with informative guest speakers, private behind-the-scenes tours, and other opportunities to learn more about Fort Leavenworth, the oldest active Army post west of the Mississippi River.
